“‘Oh, Evie, you’re too much,’ people said, and it wasn’t complimentary. Yes, she was too much. She felt like too much inside all the time. So why wasn’t she ever enough?” The Diviners, Libba Bray

"People talked. Let them talk. Nothing I could do to stop them. They knew the thousands words, but they didn’t know the rest of the story." Thousand Words, Jennifer Brown
I just wanted to say thank you to all of the new followers, and welcome! We just past 500 followers and I’m in awe, really. This tumblr started off as a hobby because I love collecting quotes (especially young adult quotes), so thank you so much for following!
Just a shout out, I changed the typeset for the quotes to League Gothic, which is part of the League of Movable Type’s free type-fonts. They’re all really gorgeous, so check them out!
And since I love sharing my favorite quotes with you all, feel free to share yours with me too, and I’ll post them with a link to your tumblr (or you can submit anonymously). Only rule is, it must be a young adult book quote (I’ll accept some New Adult too, depending on the novel).
Third and lastly (and I almost can’t control myself, I’m so excited), my debut novel, The Sound of Us, will be released December 19th from Bloomsbury Spark, an digital imprint of Bloomsbury Children! So, check it out if you ever get the chance!
I can’t wait to share more of my favorite quotes with you all! Happy Holidays!
